The 22nd annual
conference of the Association of University Language Communities’ in the
UK & Ireland (AULC) will take place over 3 days (Mon 29 – Wed 31
March 2021), and is this year hosted by the University
of Leeds, online.
The conference title is [Digital] Practitioners, Pedagogy and Policy, and the provisional programme outline will be available on the CercleS website under the relevant news item. This is in the process of being updated and will soon be available via a conference website.
The aim of
the conference is to enable language centre practitioners, language
educators and scholars to present and discuss their practice, pedagogies
and scholarship/research around these three
broad strands of language education in HE.
Unlike previous years, from 2021 onwards there will be a small registration fee:
£15.00 for members of AULC, and for members of CercleS (please register with your employer email address)
£25.00 non-members
No registration fee is required from presenters, nor for colleagues employed by the host institution, University of Leeds
We hope that by holding
the conference over 3 days, delegates will have more time to peruse the
pre-recorded talks in advance, and post comments and questions.
