Euro SoTL Research & Writing Opportunity: 2019 LITE International Collaborative Writing Project (Bilbao, June 2019 & Leeds, January 2020)
Would you like to collaborate on an international project to co-author Teaching and Learning publications in both Bilbao and Leeds?
If so, please consider applying for the following exciting opportunity to participate in the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE) International Collaborative Writing Project.
This project aims to develop your international networks and your publication profile in the area of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. It should be particularly attractive to anyone attending EuroSOTL 2019 on the 13th and 14th June, as it begins with a writing retreat in Bilbao on the 11th and 12th June.
You will join a group of scholars working on different themes to research and write a journal article. We expect there to be six groups, each working on themes that are important in SoTL today.
At the writing retreat you will work with your group and have the time and space to exchange ideas, write and think.
Following the retreat, the International Collaborative Writing Project will continue with groups collaborating remotely on their joint publications and there will be a further opportunity to meet up face to face in January 2020 in Leeds (plus attend the University of Leeds’ Student Education Conference, for free).
The call for applications has been extended until 24 March 2019. Please use the following link to access further details and find out how to apply: http://teachingexcellence.leeds.ac.uk/events/call-for-lite-international-collaborative-writing-project/
Please feel free to forward this information to any of your colleagues who you think might be interested and might benefit from involvement with this exciting opportunity.
